Letter to my Followers:
This week feels extra special—I get to share the heart behind my book, Faithful Autoimmune Remission, which launches October 14. While I’m sharing little snapshots on social media, here I want to take you deeper into why I wrote it and how it ties into the 9 pillars of health that I teach.
When I was in the hardest season of autoimmune disease, I felt lost and unsure if healing was even possible. But through faith and intentional lifestyle choices, I slowly began to rebuild my life. As I found remission, I realized I couldn’t keep this journey to myself. My story needed to be shared so that other women walking a similar path could find hope, encouragement, and practical steps for their own healing. That’s how this book was born. In fact, God literally called me to put my vulnerable story into the world to help others.
The truth is, Faithful Autoimmune Remission isn’t just about me—it’s a testimony to the power of God and whole-person wellness:
- Mindset: Learning to renew my thoughts daily kept me moving forward when setbacks came (Romans 12:2).
- Nutrition & Gut Health: Healing began when I nourished my body with foods that supported energy and reduced inflammation.
- Community: I leaned on my family, my faith community, and now I’m extending that support to you, my readers.
- Spiritual Health: Most of all, God’s faithfulness anchored me. I share scriptures throughout the book that reminded me I wasn’t alone.
All of the 9 pillars played a role in my healing, but here’s one simple practice I want to leave with you today:
Take 5 minutes this week to write one sentence that describes how you want to feel in your health 90 days from now. This little exercise helped me cast vision when I couldn’t see the whole picture. It’s incredible how even a short statement can reframe your outlook and give you direction.
As I count down to launch day, October 14, I want to thank you for being here with me. Your encouragement, prayers, and support mean more than I can say. My hope is that this book will inspire your own wellness journey and remind you that remission—and thriving—is possible.
With gratitude and hope,
Terri 💙
P.S. Will you help me spread the word? Share this with a friend who could use some encouragement today.
